Couples Counseling
Few things are as satisfying or as healing as a secure relationship with a committed partner. Yet these relationships can also be the most difficult to navigate, and few things are as painful as when they go awry. For many, the right intervention can either save a relationship from falling apart, or at least help it to end with understanding and compassion.

For over 40 years, Doctors John and Julie Gottman have been studying couples to determine what makes some relationships succeed while others fail. By observing couples interact in their famous "Love Lab" and then following those couples longitudinally, they were able to predict which behaviors were predictive of relationship success or relationship failure. Using this data, they created Gottman Method for Couples Counseling.

Couples who engage in Gottman Method counseling can expect a structured, evidence-based approach that incudes relationship assessment, improving communication, deepening friendship, and managing conflict more effectively. The goal is not to eliminate conflict, but to navigate it in a way that strengthens the relationship rather than erodes it.
